FG Begins TVET Initiative Payment

The Federal Government has begun the first tranche of payments under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Initiative. This was communicated in a statement issued by Folasade Boriowo, Director of Press and Public Relations at the Federal Ministry of Education, stating that the rollout of the first tranche demonstrates the government's commitment to sustaining the programme, while the next tranches will follow later. According to a statement, over 42,000 students enrolled in the programme have received their monthly stipend of N22,500 to cover transportation and basic living expenses.
