Goodluck Jonathan Calls for Guinea-Bissau Election Results

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has called for the immediate release of the Guinea-Bissau presidential election results. Jonathan, who was in Guinea-Bissau to observe the presidential election, made the call in Abuja while speaking with the media after returning from the country, noting that announcing the result would demonstrate integrity. He described the coup which occurred in the country before election were declared as sadder than when he conceded defeat to president Buhari in 2015. He insisted that the African Union (AU) and ECOWAS have access to the authentic results and must publish them.
