Oyo APC Youths to Makinde: Get Ready to Handover in 2027.

Oyo APC youths say they are gearing up to reclaim the state from the PDP government, with Youth Leader John Aremu highlighting renewed party unity ahead of 2027. He said the upcoming APC Youth Summit will roll out a youth-led plan for mobilisation, digital advocacy and community engagement to drive the party’s comeback. The declaration was made during a press briefing at the APC Secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, where Aremu, stated that youthful party members are organizing to retake the state from the current Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration. Aremu accused the current government of enslaving Oyo State and emphasized that APC youths are dedicated to bringing the political transformation the state demands. He said that the ruling party should prepare for its inevitable demise, with progressive young leaders ready to take charge.
