President Tinubu Enlists 32 Ambassador-Designate Nominees

President Bola Tinubu has sent a list of 32 ambassador-designate nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation for postings to diplomatic missions abroad. According to a statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the nominees comprise 17 non-career diplomats and 15 career officers. The President had last week forwarded a three-man ambassadorial list for confirmation. Amongst those on the list are: - Barrister Ogbonnaya Kalu (Abia) - Reno Omokri (Delta) – Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan - Prof. Mahmood Yakubu (Bauchi) – Former INEC Chairman - Erelu Bisi Angela Adebayo (Ekiti) – Former Ekiti First Lady - Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu) – Former Governor of Enugu State
